Parks Mowing Update:
Due to the extended winter weather, rains and saturated turf, mowing cycles of park facilities and properties have been delayed for the past few weeks, but are getting back on track. Parks staff has been working with the City’s general mowing contractor, VMC Landscaping, to ensure that the parks will be mowed quickly and efficiently. This past week, the mowing contractor began mowing large community parks and sports areas while park staff mowed areas that needed attention immediately. During this weekend, the contractor will be mowing low-impact park facilities and areas. All trails are scheduled to be mowed the first of next week.
