The Crimeweb Network

The North Richland Hills Police Department is participating in an internet based program called Crimeweb. Crimeweb is designed to allow citizens to receive information on Major Crimes, Homeland Security and Community Information via e-mail in the form of an e-mail alert. Using Crimeweb is free and simple to use. We encourage each of our citizens to participate. Those wishing to participate need only go to www.Crimeweb.net and register. Once registered as a subscriber, you will begin receiving e-mail notifications from our Police Agency when an alert is issued. Simply click on the e-mail and the alert will appear.

The North Richland Hills Police Department will also use the program to distribute the City's Crime Report. The Crime Report has been made available to the public in an effort to keep citizens informed of local crime, including; burglaries, thefts, and narcotics arrest information. Again, registered Crimeweb subscribers will receive an e-mail notification by the Department when an alert is sent.

The Crimeweb program is zip code based; therefore residents of North Richland Hills will enter the zip code of 76180 in order to receive local alerts for our City, but additionally, may choose to receive alerts from across the nation by entering additional zip codes. We feel that communication between the police and the citizens is paramount in an effort to reduce crime, and we look forward to you becoming a part of the Crimeweb program.
