Scott Turnage - Council Place 6


Scott Turnage was elected to the City Council in May 2006 and re-elected in 2008 and 2010. He previously served on the Council from 2002-2004 and is a former member of the Parks Board and the Planning & Zoning Commission.

A Northeast Tarrant County native, he is a 23 year resident of North Richland Hills. Mr. Turnage graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BBA degree in 1982, worked as a bank executive for many years and then co-founded Uretek ICR, a contracting firm specializing in concrete lifting and stabilization.

Mr. Turnage's wife, Sue, is a bank executive, and he has two children, a son who attends Richland High School and a daughter who is a college junior. He and his family are members of St. Luke United Methodist Church.  Mr. Turnage has served on the boards of several local charitable agencies and is a long time board member of Safe Haven of Tarrant County, Inc., where he previously served as chairman.
