Tom Lombard - Council Place 3

Tom Lombard was elected to the City Council in May 2009.

Prior to joining the City Council, he served on several city boards and committees. From 2006 to 2009 he was a member of the Parks & Recreation Facilities Development Corporation and the Parks & Recreation Board, which he chaired. He was also appointed in 2007 to the Red Light Camera Advisory Committee and in 2008 to the Gas Board Appeals.

Mr. Lombard has been an active supporter of the public school system. He was chairman of the Birdville ISD Bond Oversight Committee for the district's 2006 bond program. He previously served on the district's 2006 Bond Study Committee.

Mr. Lombard has been a resident of North Richland Hills since 1994. He is employed as a software engineer with AT&T. He is a 1978 graduate of the University of Dayton (Dayton, OH) with a Bachelor of Arts and a 1984 graduate of Bellarmine University (Louisville, KY) with an Associate of Applied Science.

Mr. Lombard and his wife, Paula, have been married since 1985. They are the parents of three daughters and members of St. Elizabeth Ann Seaton Catholic Church.
